In 1987, a diverse group of faith-driven neighbors in Bristol, Pennsylvania, recognized an urgent need - local families were facing impossible choices due to rising housing costs and a lack of dignified places to call home. This realization inspired the founding of the Interfaith Housing Development Corporation of Bucks County, a nonprofit rooted in the belief that everyone deserves not just a roof, but a supportive community and a safe, welcoming environment. Guided by the principles of compassion, integrity, and unwavering faith, we began the mission to rehabilitate and offer affordable, quality homes for families most in need. Over the decades, our commitment has remained consistent. Each property we restore is a testament to our promise: families in Bucks County should have the stability and hope that comes with a well-cared-for home. Today, our faith-based approach sets us apart, emphasizing service to others, cultivating genuine community connections, and nurturing a sense of pride for every resident.
